Places to visit Haridwar
Hari-Ki-Pairi : Hari-Ki Pairi is the focal point of all tour packages of Haridwar for most devotees picks Haridwar tours to take a dip in the sacred waters of River Ganges and to worship the River Goddess. Mansa Devi Temple : Situated atop a hill, Mansa Devi Temple is one of the most sacred temples in the vicinity. One can reach the temple via cable car which takes about INR 48 for a to and fro ride.
Bharat Mata Temple : Situated 5 km north of the center this temple is another intriguing sight of Haridwar. Interestingly the temple is dedicated to Mother India and is a fascinating symbol of communal harmony for it is open to people of all faiths.
Chandi Devi Temple : This religious temple was built by the King of Kashmir Suchat Singh in 1929 which is located on the top the Neel Parvat. In the 8th century the religious philosopher Adi Shankaracharya enshrined the main deity in the temple. The blessed land of Haridwar is visited by scores of tourists throughout the year. During the time of religious festivities this place becomes one of the prominent centres of attraction for the people across the globe. Day 01: Delhi to Haridwar (210kms/6hrs)
Pick up from Delhi and transfer to Haridwar. Evening visit Mansa Devi Temple and Har Ki Pauri Ganga Aarti. Dinner and overnight stay at Haridwar.
Day 02: Haridwar Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast, visit Chandi Devi Temple By Cable Car. Later transfer to Rishikesh. Visit Laxmanjhula, Laxman Temple, Trambakeshwar Temple, Ramjhula and Bharat Mandir. Evening aarti at Triveni Ghat. Return to Haridwar and Night stay.
Day 03: Haridwar to Delhi
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel. Visit Pawan Dham, Maya Devi Temple and Daksh Temple. Transfer to Delhi drop in Delhi.
