Dehradun is the winter capital and the most populous city of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Dehradun is located in the Doon Valley on the foothills of the Himalayas nestled between the river Ganges on the east and the river Yamuna on the west. It is well connected and in proximity to Himalayan tourist destinations such as Mussoorie, Dhanaulti, Chakrata, New Tehri, Uttarkashi etc.
There are a number of small towns and tourist sites in Dehradun District. Tourist destinations include the Dehradun Zoo, Kalanga Monument, Chandrabani, Himalayan Gallery cum Regional Science Centre Guchhupani, Forest Research Institute, Tapovan, Lakshman Siddha Peeth, Tapkeshwar Temple, Santala Devi Temple, Mindrolling Monastery, Prakasheshwar Mahadev Temple, Sai Mandir, Central Braille Press and Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology.
Tour starts from Haridwar. After reaching Dehradun, we visit Buddha temple, FRI, Shestradhara, robber cave, deer park. It's a two days tour and we will have enough time to visit and enjoy all the sites and also some extras.
At the end of tour, we return to Haridwar.
